The new design is a way to refresh their image while paying tribute to previous designs that date back to 1948. Jill Gregory is very enthusiastic about the new brand design for NASCAR. She is the senior vice president and chief marketing officer of the organization. She states that the new design is modern, sleek, elegant, and recognizing the impact of history by the inclusion of previous marks in the updated design.
